This is awesome that you started a forum!!!!  I am looking forward to joining you on the Az trail.  Do you have a list of any riders that will be riding on the Az part.  I would like to scout out some of the trails before ride.  Thanks for all you do and I love the calender and horse charm.

Thanks.. We don't have alot of riders yet in AZ that have submitted applications, but several people have expressed an interest in coming out. We will be riding along historic route 66 through AZ.  So not alot to really scout out lol.. I am so looking forward to this part of the trip, we will be passing through so many small towns and maybe even a few ghost towns lol.. I am glad you liked the Calender and the charm!!

Cool so when we go through Williams we can get our kicks on route 66.  They have a great fabric store there.  :0)

Hi,  It is awesome that you are planning to do this sort of ride!! It is sort of Ironic though, as a friend and I are also planning to ride from FL to CA. We are planning on Leaving either Jan or the end of Feb. But now since seeing your planned ride (I have been waiting on him to respond) we might decide to go along with you all. We are focusing on conditioning our horses, and planning everything right now. So far we are up to 14 miles a day.

I have so many questions, so I was looking up long Trail Rides and ran across your site. This is Awesome!! I love how you did your map, May I ask for your help in how you were able to do this? With it saying on each leg of the trip the Mileage?  And I am wondering about taking a pack horse? Not just for supplies, but also to have another horse for the conditioning of the other horse, to ride in case something happens to the one we are riding (God forbit), but you never know.

We don't have any wooden bridges around where I live, but we are thinking about having one made, just for practice.

I hope that we can come with you guys but we are still just in the planning mode of things. And either way, it has always been a Dream of mine to go from Sea to Shinning Sea. And travel this Awesome Country of ours.

Thanks,

Kim & Skye
